This review contains spoilers. I had hope that the FL would do more than be passive about everything that’s going on. She’s shown as a strong sword wielding lady but at every turn she just passively takes every dump thing that comes her way. I had a lot of hope for her to turn out good or at least come back to her sense at some point but in the beginning chapters she even lists the horrendous things the guy did to her and proceeds to say that she can’t seem to despise him. The fact that he is “special” to you doesn’t mean what he did was ok and it’s so weird for her to “have feelings for him” when he honestly did way too much bad than good. Their interactions aren’t even that deep it’s mostly ML being over jealous of every man that comes even a bit near his wife whom he ignored for 8 YEARS just because he suddenly fell in love with her because she ain’t what he thought she was.
